Irony

If commitment and marriage takes the value away, why then people do it? Sometimes you wonder, can two people be together, happy, and yet thought that maybe too much of each other can break the string that glows? Do you need distance to let the feelings emerge again in the absence of what you can't have at the moment?

"The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you" - Lost in Translation. How can two people be apart because they knew they cant handle the excitement that comes with it if they're beside each other? An irony amongst the magic.

When promises are made, does that mean that one is submissive to the other? Why would people exchange jewels for certainty? If certainty cannot give you what you exchange it for, then it wouldn't be a fair trade would it?

They say it doesn't last forever, because beauty, and everything nice and amazing is mortal. If uncertainty can give you the slightest hope of it lasting, would you then risk it? Some say when it settles, it has become something real, and that that's life, but who decide as such ? Was the magic you felt unreal? If the real deal does not interest you, should you then settle ?

Green and Brown

Are dreams glimpse of our future,
A leakage of our deepest wants,
Or just a reflection of our hopes?

You keep wondering because you can't decide
Which is it the piece that's been cut for you
Its not for you to decide, that's the thing

Spot the sweetness
Because when honesty and thoughtless gestures are liberating, you've found it
In the midst of a blurry yet picturesque complication
You discovered the green in thousands of brown

When once more time is priceless
Limitation, boundaries and complete conscious maximizes
When tolerance offers as jewels
The uncertainty has bought present certainty

Nevermind the commercialization of Christmas
Nevermind the short-mindedness of love
Lucky asses out there enjoy it and have the chance to
Because you know, it doesn't come by knocking on everyone's door

Time, is pressure
But stick around for a while
And you'll see, that maybe for once,
We are all risk-seeking beings
